What is EAN8 barcode?

Barcodes are used widely for many purposes. Many user-friendly applications need to control the flow of products. The other applications use barcodes to speed up processing of customer' requests. There are many types of barcodes, but the one of most used is EAN8, a subset of the ISO/IEC 15420-2001 barcode standart.
